How to fix connection drops?

If you experience unexpected connection drops or encounter INTERNAL/GOAWAY errors, this is usually because idle connections are being closed by load balancers or proxies. To keep your live feed connection healthy and stable, please configure the following keepalive settings in your gRPC client:

  • Time: 10 seconds (sends a ping every 10 seconds).
  • Timeout: 5 seconds (waits 5 seconds for a response before considering the connection dead).
  • PermitWithoutStream: true (allows keepalive pings even during idle periods to keep the connection open).
