Why is the real playing time in eFootball never 480s (2x 4 min), and why does it return from larger to smaller, for example, from 556 in the one-before-last to…
538 in the last odds change?
When the match game time runs its course and extra time starts, the match goes on for a few more seconds (the real time that is just below the game time carries on counting while the game time itself stays at 90:00), until the match actually finishes. This will prompt Oddin.gg trading to actually end the match, which will reset the real playing time back to the original state. As extra time from both first and second half are combined, that should be the reason why real playing time should always exceed 480 seconds. Also, if the game is paused due to some regular in-game actions (e.g. corner-kick, free-kick, etc.), the in-game time will slow down. The same goes for any in-game cutscene + menu actions (player switches, etc.) that will automatically dilate the time as well.
