Oddin.gg Bots - Product Overview documentation

Introduction

This document provides a functional description of the Bots product (“Absolute Legends eFootball”) for the purposes of a potential client’s legal and compliance assessment. It describes what the product is, how the underlying content is produced, and the integrity and risk controls that govern it.

1. What the product is

Bots is a 24/7 virtual football betting product. Matches are played entirely by the artificial-intelligence (“AI”) opponents built into the standard EA SPORTS FC 26 video game - i.e. the game’s own bots play against each other (“AI vs AI”). No human players control the teams, and the outcome of each match is produced by the game rather than by any human action.

The content is delivered by the third-party provider. Each match runs in the EA FC 26 game with two AI-controlled teams.

The matches are streamed live, and Oddin offers a full set of pre-match and in-play betting markets on top of them, delivered to operators through the standard Oddin integration (including an iframe option). Because matches run continuously, the product gives operators always-on content that fills the gaps between real-world sporting events.

1.1. Division of responsibilities

Party Role
Third-party content provider Operates EA SPORTS FC 26, runs the AI-vs-AI matches, produces and streams the match video, organises the tournament schedule, and delivers the match feed to Oddin. Avatar video layers, where used, are also produced by the content provider.
Oddin Receives the match feed, calculates the odds and prices the betting markets, manages market states (open / suspended / closed / resolved), provides the betting infrastructure, distribution and integration, and handles settlement to operators.
Operator (client) Activates the product and tournaments on its platform and offers the markets to its end users, subject to its own licensing and jurisdictional requirements.

Key point for legal review: match outcomes are generated by the EA FC 26 game and are not determined, edited or influenced by Oddin or the operator. Oddin prices and settles markets based on the observed match state.

2. Current tournament setup

The product is currently delivered as parallel tournaments under the “Absolute Legends eFootball” brand. Some tournaments include AI avatars (an additional engagement video layer produced by the content provider). The avatar layer does not change how matches are played - it is an alternative video presentation.

Tournament League / format Avatars
Absolute Legends eFootball 1 Legends League With avatars
Absolute Legends eFootball 2 World Cup With avatars
Absolute Legends eFootball 3 Legends League Without avatars
Absolute Legends eFootball 4 World Cup Without avatars
Absolute Legends eFootball 5 World Cup With avatars

Within each tournament, a new game starts every 17 minutes, giving operators continuous, always-on content.
