If the coverage changes and the match is no longer available live, how will we know?

You will receive a fixture_change message about the coverage change (change_type="5"). There are two cases when this could happen:

  1. The match, which was planned to be covered in both prematch and live, will not be covered live (most cases), probably due to a change in data availability, OR
  2. The match, which was initially planned to be covered only in prematch, is marked to also be covered live (rare cases), probably because a new data source has become available.

In the case of 1., the liveodds=”not_available” attribute will be added to the fixture information on the API. In the case of 2., the liveodds=”not_available” attribute will be removed from the fixture information on the API.
