Is there a way to understand which matches have the element and which don't?

The matches with a scoreboard will have the information scoreboard_available in the odds changes and in the /summary information on the Odds Feed API. So if it's true, the scoreboard info will come in the feed, and you will have live score updates for the current map/period.
