What are the different recovery types?

  1. Full recovery
  2. With a timestamp (max. 12 hours in the past for eSims Bots; max. 72 in the past for other sports): You get aggregated markets and odds data for everything that has changed since the chosen timestamp + all settlements, cancellations, and rollbacks if they were issued since the chosen timestamp.
  3. Without a timestamp: You get the current market and odd statuses and values for all the markets of all the matches in the system, but no settlements, cancellations, or other messages.
  4. Event odds recovery: all markets and odds statuses and values at the time of the recovery request for an event.
  5. Event stateful recovery: all available settlements and other stateful messages (market cancellations and rollbacks) at the time of the recovery request for an event.

All these types of recoveries can be done with dedicated methods within the SDK. Also, the full recovery is automatically issued by the SDK if the SDK identifies feed loss or delay; in this case, the SDK will do the recovery from the timestamp of the last successfully received feed message, per producer (prematch and live). If you restart the SDK, you can pass the timestamp from which you want the automatic recovery to be requested; if no timestamp is passed, the full odds recovery will be done (used mainly for the first run of your service, to populate all markets).
