What is .SetInitialSnapshotTimeInMinutes() (.NET) / InitialSnapshotTimeInMinutes (Java) in the configuration, and how does it affect the recovery?

  1. If this method is not used in your configuration or the time attribute passed is more than 72 hours, then a full odds recovery will be issued, meaning that you will receive an odds change for every active match with all the markets, odds, and their current statuses. There will be no bet settlements, bet cancels, or other stateful messages sent in the recovery response. Usually, you use this on the first start of the SDK-based client to get all the current odds and matches.
  2. If this method is used and has the time attribute set to less than 72 hours, then the SDK will issue a recovery after a timestamp, meaning that you will receive an aggregated odds change for every match with only the odds that have changed since the "after" timestamp and all the settlements and bet cancels that have been issued since the "after" timestamp. So, if you restart the SDK, it is advisable that you pass the timestamp of the last successfully processed message before the restart (having saved it before in some permanent storage).
