Can you please explain how OAF (increasing liability factor) works?

OAF is divided into 5 ranges:

  • 1st Range: OAF 1-3 → factor 1
  • 2nd Range: OAF 3.1-5 → factor 0.75
  • 3rd Range: OAF 5.1-7 → factor 0.5
  • 4th Range: OAF 7.1-9.9 → factor 0.1
  • 5th Range: OAF 10-10 → factor 0.01

The easiest solution to find out limits which are bound to a certain OAF is simply to divide OAF by the bet factor. → OAF/bet factor = limits For example: OAF 10 has bet factor 0.01. 10/0.01 = 1000. So, a bettor with OAF 10 can bet 1000x more than an average bettor (someone with OAF/BOS 1). Also, a person with, let’s say, OAF 10 will also drain way less from the overall match liability pool due to their 0.01 bet factor. For example, if an OAF 10 bettor were to bet €1000, the overall match liability would only decrease by €1. Examples:

  • A bettor with OAF 3.5 can bet 4.6x more
  • A bettor with OAF 5 can bet 6.6x more
  • A bettor with OAF 7 can bet 14x more
  • A bettor with OAF 10 can bet 1000x more

The exact certain amount is affected by the specific tournament OTS risk tier. For example, VIPs can place wagers on Tier 1 events like The International way higher than on MoonStudio, which is Tier 8. It works the same as it does for casual bettors, just with their own multiplier.
