The MaxStake functionality is used to receive the information of how much the user can bet as a maximum amount on Oddin’s selections on the bet slip. The MaxStake request can be sent to the OTS system at any time to receive this information for a particular user and the current selections that are on the bet slip, and then the amount can be visualised for the user before they place a bet. The use of this is optional, only if a client offers this to their users as an additional functionality. No client that is using our Risk Management is doing their own calculations of the max. stake for Oddin’s selections, since they have a functionality that provides this to them without needing to develop additional logic for it. Also, the liability calculations for the max. stake also depend on individual users’ Risk settings (not only the general tournament settings but also the user’s general and detailed constraints), which can be complicated to obtain and process.
