How should we handle the mixed multis that contain non-Oddin legs for which the risk data should come from our side, as you wouldn’t have that info?
How we have handled it in the past with other suppliers who have done risk management side as well on their content is that for mixed multis we do all the validation on our end; the customers’ limits and event limits have then been configured on our end to be as similar as to what you guys would have.
Since the stake is divided equally among the multiple selections, you need to be careful if, for one selection, the max. stake is higher from one provider than from another – then you should take the one that is lower and multiply it by the number of all selections to get the total max. stake that would go through with all the providers. An example:
- A multiple ticket is created with 3 Oddin’s selections and 2 Sportradar’s selections
- Oddin returns 90 € max. stake for our 3 selections; SR returns 70 € max. stake for their 2 selections
- Oddin’s stake per selection is lower than SR’s (90/3=30 < 70/2=35)
- Therefore, instead of just summing up the two max. stakes (90+70=160), you should multiply the lower per-selection stake with the total number of selections: 30*5=150
- 150 € is the total max. stake for all the selections on the bet slip that should be accepted by both providers when you send the ticket in the correct format to their respective risk management systems (in the above example, OTS & MTS).
