What is the correct workflow to cash out combo (multiple-selection/aggregator) bets?
Example 1: There is a bet of 2 bet items. Both are Oddin selections. The first item gets settled first as WON, we send it to you as WON and provide the payout. Then the second bet item gets settled and we send a cashout request for the whole ticket containing the total cashout amount (on our side it would be calculated only for the cashed-out selection, though). Example 2: There is a bet of 2 bet items. One of them is Oddin selection, gets settled first as WON and we send it to you as settlement. Then we get the cashout request, but the second selection is not Oddin. Do we send a cashout request in this case, as in the first example, or just ignore it because the Oddin selection was already settled? Example 3: There is a bet of 2 bet items. One of them is Oddin selection, and the second is not Oddin selection. The whole bet gets cashed out before any other settlement takes place. We send it to you because it contains a non-settled Oddin selection.
The key principle is that a bet slip with multiple selections (a combo or accumulator) remains in an Accepted state until every single selection has been settled. A bet is only final when all its parts are final.
Example 1: Even though the first selection has won, the overall bet slip is still Accepted (i.e., pending or open) because the second selection hasn't been settled yet. Since the bet is still open, a cashout request is valid. You would only pay out the full winnings after the second selection is also settled as a WON.
Example 2: You should send a cashout request in this scenario. The logic is the same as in Example 1. The bet slip's status is still Accepted because the non-Oddin selection is still open. Our system doesn't distinguish between Oddin and non-Oddin selections when determining if a bet is still open. As long as one part of the bet is unsettled, a cashout can be offered and requested for the whole bet slip. For the foreign (non-Oddin) selections, you need to tell our OTS system via the ResolveForeignEventsInTicket request if the final result is WON (foreign_stake > 0) or LOST (foreign_stake = 0) when they are eventually settled.
Example 3: When a bet is 100% cashed out, it's considered settled. If we send a settlement message for the Oddin selection after the cashout has occurred, this is purely for your records so you can update the final status of that selection on the bet slip.
